Modes of Communication

Students can access resources, activities, and upcoming events through our Counseling Google Classroom. This classroom is accessible to all students. Parents, guardians, and families can access counseling information through our website. The website includes updated contact information, resources, etc.

Counseling Services

When possible, we encourage students to make an appointment via email. In emergency cases, students can always stop in or ask their teacher to call our office. To ensure all students receive support services, both counselors try to maintain availability during all related arts and lunch periods.

*If students are in crisis/emergent situations, they can notify their teacher or email counselor to be seen ASAP.*

Individual and Group Counseling

Our department focuses on delivering both individual and group counseling support. Students can schedule appointments to see their counselors at any time for a quick check-in or weekly/bi-weekly appointment. Group counseling is created based on our student's needs. Our department surveys students once every marking period to see what we can implement to better support.

Organization, Careers, and More!

We offer organizational check-ins with both peer mentors and counselors! Students can work with counselors on their schedule, binder/locker organization, etc. We've recently infused career education and exploration into our counseling curriculum. Before stepping up to High School, all students will have gone through a career seminar that invites them to match interests to a potential career and discover next steps for the future!
